Hmm well that's a bummer. In that case I may drop the invest points for other applications, or I may just keep them for roleplay purposes. I did enjoy a npc bounty hunt every now and then. Though it was lame to spend 15 minutes tracking down and traveling to a mark's location only to find he was in the middle of a tree.

Hmm well the Fort Tusken is totally camped by crazy loot hunters. Amazing people would be so crazy about loot in a TC especially when a server wipe could be around the corner.....

Anyway I dreamed up this crazy super intensive gunslinger template today, but I don't have the time to farm out a launcher pistol to see if it works well. For those of you with access to a launcher pistol here's my template (template is not necessarily designed to be pvp/pve centric)

Novice Medic
Novice Commando
0040 Bounty Hunter
4243 Pistoleer
0030 Smuggler

With these skill sets pistol accuracy is capped, and pistol speed is at 106. Dodge is at 80. Skill mods could easily supplement these. The Bh specials combined with the smuggler knockdown shot seemed to be working very well for me, I just didn't have a pistol with any punch.

Please discuss if your interested.....

I've found some success on the TC with a pretty similar template to that and a 450 max launcher pistol. Of course, this is with crappy armor. A good geo pistol would be necessary to make it viable in pvp once 90% armor is being made. Even then though, I'd have to choose my battles.

As for novice medic, you could do without. It's a waste of skill points unless you pick up 4000 or something similar.

well that's an older variant of the build I'm currently looking at using. Novice medic allows you to use stim Bs, which in live will be notably better than they are in TC. The stim bs in TC are crap. Anyway the ability to heal myself, even mildly is important as I plan to pve primarily.
