To celebrate the New Years Galaxies Reborn Meet & Greet VI will be a special new years addition! There will be a big PVP tournament as our main event and then a battle royal (everyone vs everyone and the last one standing wins).
The PVP tournament will be bracket style depending on the number of people who show up. if the dice work i will be setting up the brackets off of that, if not i will use a random number generator to set up the brackets.

I just tried to recreate my original toon Aspire Crestingstar, which was the first one I made, but deleted because somehow I got to create 3 toons. Well, remade, but couldn't use the name. Says it is already taken...nothing really to do with the meet and greet, aside from I wanted to meet and greet with that toon...hehe

Anyway, I remade an Artisan, Aesop Aogae, and tried to go to Coronet. Wouldn't happen, so I went to Theed. I waved at Rilkin, who was standing outside the starport, and then went immediately to purchase a ticket to Coronet. Bought my ticket, then went to the ticket collector, and got a status message stating that "The Emporer has restricted travel to this planet at this time".

Change of location planned for the meet and greet or is this something that can be corrected in the next few hours?

That just gave me an idea...which is most likely best posted somewhere else, but since I am still getting my bearings on where everything is located in these forums, and I don't want to forget, I'll post it here...at least temporarily.

I think it would be pretty cool if those of you who have been around for a while and/or been a big part of establishing this community/emu were somehow immortalized as NPCs throughout the game. This of course would have to be to your agreement, taking into consideration using your in-game name, etc...or maybe even using a version of your forum name, if different from the in-game character name.

This could either be done by creating completely new NPCs at random locations, which would most likely be the more labor intensive way to go about it, or possibly changing the name of a NPC chosen by the person being immortalized.

Just a random idea...

its a good idea, it can be done by making a vender npc and naming it and puting it in the "GR HALL OF FAME" or some structure like that and disable the vender part of it.

I've been on and off the game most of the day and have only seen one person log in. Then about 8:20 I tried to get to Theed from Tatooine it was a no go. I bought a ticket ran to the driod he takes my ticket nothing happened I went back to buy another one and all the regular ticket terminals are gone.
