It begins:

    I have been asked to assemble a team of 10 testers for SWGANH.

    The selection of testers will not be arbitrary.

    Selection will be completed by the executive and the playerbase.

    There are a number of criteria that will be scrutinized before a person
    will be selected for a place on the team:
    -maturity
    -ability
    -availability
    -reliability
    -experience
    -forum participation

    If you want a place on the team, and if you feel you possess personal
    qualities and experience over and above that of the common member
    of the playerbase then you must perform the following:

    Send me a PM detailing why we should pick you. Include things like
    past beta testing experience, how much help you offer our members,
    and how much time you can dedicate to testing.

    Take your time.

    Be thorough.

    Be professional.

    You are submitting a gaming resume.

    This PM will be posted for the executive only to read, discuss and vote.

    People, keep in mind: This is serious business. You will be our ambassadors
    to the ANH community. While testing, you must show dedication, intelligence,
    compassion and maturity.

    If you are selected for testing, and fail to live up to our standard of excellence,
    you will be removed from the team and likely banned from this forum.

    This selection process will last one week. If you do not submit your name by
    Friday, November 9 at 23:59:59 PST you miss the window and will have to
    wait for a spot to open.

Probably enough to test features, I'd say like 2-3 hours per day, more is better though :p.

Galaxies Reborn will use the emulator that best suits our needs; if ANH meets those needs, then yes.

all though I'd love to do this, my intenet can't dowload anything. this really bums me out.... oh well. I have little Pre-cu experience, Which would make me practically useless.


One question, if someone was picked, would it be be ok for that person to take screen shots or cpature some footage?

I see nothing wrong with that. Id really hope that alot of screenies will be posted during and after the test. It would make for some new subject content here on GR.

To Red.....i know i said this before....but your really gonna dig pre-cu bro. Youll be hooked forever.

Oh I played then.I came in just before vehicles came out. I was only 11 and played on my grandparents computer. They didn't realize the commitment it took in the game, so they'd make me take breaks every half an hour.

it was miserable!

Vehicals came out in pub 5 i think.

I cant wait until its all ready.....im ready to get back to base and turrent busting.

This kind of stuff was to be addressed with the people at a later date, but we have been told by ANH to forbid such actions. We dont know why, and it doesnt really matter :-/, We are not allowed :C.

many programmers use some kind of NDA (non disclosure agreement) to protect their works

altrough this is a free project they probably want just to be careful and don't let other teams copy it (there were some problems with swgemu if i'm not wrong in the past)

Sounds very exciting and I hope to be one of the chosen ones 2-3 hours everyday is easy and much more on the weekends.
