I can't log onto the server: chicago2.swgemu.com port:44454 at all. I've been trying everyday for the past week since I've signed up for an account and joined the community. Is the server a closed beta at this point? If not when I do try to login I get the connecting to server message and it does not go beyond that.

I was able to get onto the Core 3 Test server no problem but it does go down alot as expected due to testing.

The Core3 Test Centre (whose actual name is TC: Nova) is SWGEmu's public test centre. This is exactly the same thing as chicago2.swgemu.com, which is its static address. View the SWGEmu site at swgemu.com for current tc info, and to see if there are any planned downtimes.

Ok my mistake then. I thought that Galaxy Reborn was hosting their own server when in fact its only that one that has a public test server.

I think you are still confused. Galaxies Reborn WILL be hosting their own server, once the guys over at SWGEmu release their product to the public. Right now SWGEmu has the only PUBLIC Test Center online. SWGEmu is only in the testing phase, it is not a complete and "playable" server at this time. Once they complete their programming and it is tested to the point they are satisfied with it's progress, it will be publicly realesed for independant communities to run their own servers such as Galaxies Reborn.

Too bad i cant apply, aint going to have much free time starting next month. I tend to have strange habbit of getting stuck, making something malfunction and work like it isnt supposed to and generally bumping on different bugs and glitches. If it not was only in gaming lol it happens to me alot at daily life.

Yeah if you want to get on a test center join on SWGEMU.

I have had extreme Beta testing experience and know what to look out for (Testing Aion EU right now) but I'm afraid I don't have much of a clue about SWG not to mention, Pre-CU at all. It looks like you guys have quite the team already though. Good luck to a concise release.

I can get on SWGEMU Test Center for whatever reason but I think in summary, you guys will be the ones leading me around.

Right now the TC isn't even in an official Beta phase, although that is rumored to be coming soon. By jumping on the TC now however, you'll be able to gain a basic idea of how the game mechanics work, and the overall Sandbox environment that is SWG.

Nothing is 100 as is though, as some of the professions haven't been completed.
