I know its alot of work and i appriciate it but plz don't give false hope.
In december 2011 Desia said it would be up soon.....

Again not to flame you guys and girls working on it but give real time info, just say its down and will be for a long time.

You know you go online if the SWG's emu alpha version comes out and that will take a month or 1, 2 if i'm right.

But light shines in the dark

The test server will be running SWGEmu's code and we'll use it to test some of the scripts for basic functions, such as creating a server account when you register with our forums. We won't be making any changes to SWGEmu's code or testing their code, they have their own test server for that. :)

Also, we'll probably have Meet & Greet's on it once a month too.

And when ANH's code is more playable (has more content) we have a second box we'll host their code on.

However, I don't think there's an urgent need for us to have a test server up right when SWGEmu is doing their pre-alpha launch. We're not in competition with them and we want people to test their code. We'll be hosting a server with the first stable emulator code that's released so it's in our best interest to not work against the emulator teams.

And Blizzard's Official Definition of Soon

The linux box (the one that runs EMU) is an overclocked hex core server. Normally I would be very excited about that because I run windows on everything. My linux sysadmin friend at work has spent a lot of time on this and he thinks it is a compatibility issue with the hardware. He's been doing linux for a long time, is redhat certified etc etc so i take his word as gospel. Ive changed a few things on the server, replaced the RAM, rolled back the overclock, even opened a paid support ticket at experts-exchange, but at this point i am thinking why roll back performance to get it to work - thats just a waste of hardware. I think at this point I will just restore ANH onto this server and load EMU onto the older server.
