I know there's a similar thread, but I think that one is a bit older so I didn't want to necro it.

Anyway, since the release date seems to be drawing near, I was wondering what templates people were thinking of trying to achieve initially. I think I must be terribly indecisive, because I keep changing my mind and tweaking my choice of template.

Anyway for myself, I'm thinking of starting with a template that looks like this:

TKM
Master Pistoleer
Scout 1040
Medic 2032

Since I'm mostly interested in PVE this template will allow me to tank well, free me from heavy dependence on armor, heal myself, craft my own stim bs for basic heals, and hunt efficiently for pelts, while being able to dish out a variety of damage types.

I'm not necessarily a big roleplayer, but my character has to match a certain "personality" I've built up in my mind. I'm debating going rifles, but I prefer my character to be known as a gunslinger as opposed to yet another t-21 weilding guy walking down the street.

This template will be different for me as I've always played as a bh before in one form or another. I'm particularly looking forward to playing as a TKM, something I've surprisingly never done on live.

Feel free to comment on my template choice, and definitely tell the rest of the community what template you will be grinding out initially.

Initially, I'd like to give MCarbineer/MMedic/throw in some random defensive stats a try. Eventually, though, I'd like to go with a BH/Pistols combo. Not sure exactly what, yet, but I've been playing around with it some.

I REALLY would like a MMedic/MWeaponsmith/Artisan alt so I could give crafting a try

Yeah you never know, the emu guys may end up making carbineer fun again if they fix all the specials as part of their release. I'm hoping this happens with pistoleer myself.

that's my hope. during the CU I was MBH/MCM/Carbines and loved my carbine so much. I could really wreck with that template. So if I can use carbines effectively this time around, I'd really like to give it a try.
