Many Bothans died to bring us this information...
Dear Communities,
A sad day indeed, but here's the evidence, you the Community can decide for yourselves, we've included the following:
- Comparison screenshots of SWGANH Source Tree, along with SWGEMU Pasteboard (swgemu URLs) coupled with #swgemudev chatlogs
- I'm also attaching the complete log from irc where we got this information
- The links to the specific pasteboard files referenced in the screenshots above.

what's all this mean?
And if it means what I vaguely think it means, then I really don't care. Whichever Dev team finishes first is all I care about. All I want is my emu

I can understand the rage that would follow something like this. But I'm sorta with ya, I just want the EMU done, at this point it's been under development for years and I'm franky tired of waiting. If anything I would think this would show how strong the original code is, if it's being lifted.

More or less, EMUs stealing from each other. At least that is what I gathered.

Well, one in particular is stealing from others. Not stealing from each other exactly.

Also, I have to disagree with some of the above statements. I also want it done soon, but I want it stable. Now, if one team can't write it's own code and has to steal bits and pieces from elsewhere, how stable is their final product going to be when compared to code that was all put together as one solid piece? One solid piece of code, or hodgepodge bits and pieces? SOE's version fell in the latter category and we know how well it worked.

Proves that one of the EMU teams are not competent enough to do it themselves, so pick the others

Personally preferred SWGAHN's idea on creation of the emulator. SWGEMU... as a whole just seem like a bunch of jerks.

Yeah, just due to their attitudes, I know many folks who were hoping they'd fall flat on their faces. If they release first, I'll sure play till the others release their versions. But I certainly will NOT donate to them (then again, I wouldn't before because this isn't exactly a first time thing. Just hang with them in IRC and you'll see).

Oh, I know this based on personal experiences. They are a bunch of jerks who, excuse my language, need to get their heads out of their asses. I'm hoping SWGAHN comes out with a far more secure system.
I am curious to how you got all this information though.

Just listen to them brag on IRC. Hang enough and they'll tell you all about it (it's an ego thing, I think). I was soooo happy when I found out how well ANH was doing. So aptly named:)

if this is real, and i dont know why anyone would fake a few hundred lines of irc chat, then there is an issue of credibility - and pride, ffs!
