don't like seeing an ATAT blowing up from snow speeder blaster fire. could they not figure out how to properly bring them down??

also is it a done deal that no matter what the rebels and imperials do that the Empire will win? that was something that pissed me off with that crap on rori. No matter how you played it that city was going to get nuked anyway.

As it appears to me the system to control the Snow Speeder / Atmospheric flight allows the player to edit or control the Vehicles area off the ground (or gravity offset which ever one comes first). Thus simulating flight. For this idea to be truly awesome the Galaxies Engine itself would have to have actual flight physics implemented.

Hmm, yeah. I liked the look of the AT-ATs but the explosions, the clipping and 'flight' makes it look off. Also, as Banky pointed out, the lack of tow cables is concerning. I don't think it'll compare in fun-factor to Hoth battles in other games like Battlefront.

^^ I agree it looks stilted and awkward. People play Battlefront for fast action. People play swg for an in depth experience of day to day life in the galaxy. The swg engine just isn't built for stuff like that.

I always wanted to see Hoth put into SWG. I thought it would really give some much needed content that pertained to SWG as it fit into the Star Wars storyline (instead of adding things from the prequels).

It would definitely have been a difficult undertaking, especially if they would have tried to keep it correctly in line with the way the game was played pre-NGE. I'm sure they've completely screwed up its inclusion into the game and made it seem more like a continual theme park as opposed to the site of a major battle.
