Ok so I been trying to catch up on what SOE did to SWG and when I started going through the professions it looks like they did away with professions like TKE or Master Swordsman. I'm I missing something or did they remove these professions from the game?

Yes, they did away with the 32 beloved pre-CU professions and replaced them with 9 "iconic" professions. Most people's characters were ripped apart and they left.

they tried to put back in swordsman, pike, fencer, and tk. in smuggler and officer the melee parts of it use the old animations. also combat ent (dont laugh i was able to beet a lev 90 buffed commando using my ent) was the "new" tkm. had 3 attack specials and 4 good debuff/stun attacks.

Wow, that's seriously dissapointing. I was crushed when they totally redid the CH profession but now, with all the time it took to acheive master swordsman? That's serious <something that can't be said on the boards>.

I knew they hosed the game with the NGE but I guess I didn't realize how badly? Removing professions that quite a few people loved? That puts the final nail in the coffin for me with SWG in it's current state. It saddens me cause I seriously do miss my character but would never think about resubscribing at this point. All that time I put into my character... gone
