 Battle Damage and escape pods
This is for ships. Battle damage is pretty much what it says, say your explorable ship is taking damage and you want to get off or whatever, well the more damage done to your ship makes random doors not open or barely open. This would go really well with being able to fly capital ships and frigates.
Escape pods. this one is a shot in the dark, but here it is. Escape pods, yes i know you can already use escape pods, but as in you launch out in an escape pod and you(and others if the escape pod is big enough) actually are being launched towards the planet - risking getting destroyed or captured(tractor beams). Another thing you would be able to do is walk into the escape pods to use them.

I like ideas such as escape pods too. Unfortunately we still don't know when SWGEmu will be ready and we know that JTL won't launch with it. so that will be more time to wait. And it won't be until then when they even begin to think about improving the game. But I say continue to dream big. I was just posting about a possible Droid Commander profession the other day. Unfortunately we can't do much more than prepare for when the game goes live and think about this kind of stuff.

yeah i know, but that's why this section is called ideas. Just seeing if anyone else thought of it as a great idea.

Certainly interesting enough idea, but just what would you do while your pod hurtles towards the safety/"safety" of the planet below? Twiddle your thumbs and hope for the best?
