Ive played for a week and im pretty hooked right now. Big change from running 3rd person figures around. Flying ships around in space is cool if your doing it in the right game.

be prepared to 5-hours+ missions in enemy territory...

eve is really a great game but too much time consuming imho (at least, too much time consuming in a single session)

Yea, in a short time, ive discovered the time you have to spend to really be uber in this game. There is a few skills that take a actual year to train and im simply not going to do that.

Ive decided to just be a mining tycoon. It takes less time to make the funs, train the skills to become a very uber miner and make a ton of cash to support you friends who do in fact enjoy only the combat aspect of the game.

but believe me, combat can be very fun (expecially when you win)

Been playing eve for more then 2 years now. It's a great game. Doesn't take much to be really that uber, those long skills don't really open that much up to you and a simple ewar module can turn a tech 2 ship to dust in no time.

Okay, been playing 2 1/2 months now. Im still hooked. Ive forgotten about the mining and went combat since thats what my character was mainly anyway.

You currently have 106 skills and 2,906,685 skill points.

I have a drake(battlecruiser) with all fittings except for my heavy missile launchers up to T2 (passive shield). Im running lvl 3 missions now and i got 218 million isk.

Yea, im gonna be in EVE for awhile.

310,000,000.00 isk now. I havent seen the other folks that i regularly play with in quite a while so mishing by myself is getting a bit tiresome.


Im currently training heavy missiles 5 and its going to take 12 days to get it. I think ill take a small break from the game and check out the swgemu again since they have added some more stuff there.

i'm playing it right now, its more of a filler game, cause i don't find all that great. although the graphics are nice for an online game and very little loading also quick when it does load

I always hated the gate campers and how they'd demand ISK or they'd destroy ya.

Well ive finally have stopped playing it. Ive been off it for a month now. I have over 5 million SP's and 485 million isk and a fully T2 drake except drones.

Im playing dungeon runners right now. Its a retarded WoW like game and its free.

8.6 million sp and 853,000,000.00 isk.

Been playing for a while now. It's actually one of the less time-consuming games I've played. I don't need to devote hours to get the best gear or to hone my skills. Everything is mouse interface, basically. I log on, play for an hour or two at most, make sure I have a full skill training queue and log off. I'm in the SomethingAwful corp "Greater Goon" (which has no affiliation with Goonfleet or Goonswarm, but shares the same mentality, with less serious business). The corps is fun and makes the game interesting. We go on a lot of ops in Syndicate space and lose ships hilariously. It's great.

10.2 million sp and 1.8 billion isk.

Ill probably be flying a caldari titan by the time the emu comes out.....

not with 10.2mil sp you won't

titans are boring anyway unless you're doing sov warfare. And even then... ok, no, they're boring all the time.

If you want to have a lot of fun in this game: go for HACs, Battlecruisers, Commandships and Interceptors. Those are all the 'splody ships out there that really tear stuff up and are good for solo and small gang work.

Support stuff I'd go for Commandships (again), EWAR (Falcons and Blackbirds), and Domis (heavy drone focus, but you should have Drones V and Scout Drone Ops V by the time you have 10mil sp anyway)

ps - mission running sucks. Hunt rats and break chains.

I didnt say i was going to fly one with 10 mill sp's.........the titan comment was only a bit of sarcasm because of the lengthly time its taking for the swg emu to be released.


Im currently in a drake (yea, thats a BC ^^read above^^) and got it fitted totally with all T2 stuff. I can totally solo any lvl 4 mission with the proper tactics. No, im not in a raven as they arent that good in pvp imo. Ive seen alot of ravens go up in smoke too often to invest the isk to build one just to see it also go boom.

Mission running is important in this game.....Its a great training tool for the new players coming in and i usually have mission fleets to help them speed up this experience and to raise their standing for them. Rat hunting is fun sometimes....but it just isnt me. I enjoy the challenge of the game missions.

We do FW's once a month and thats a blast........i do that mostly in frigs so i can piss the big guys off. Once in a while ill take a pvp fitted drake and show them how a navy em heavy missile feels like up their arse.
