 Pandora
Hey, I was just wondering if you guys knew about http://www.pandora.com/ which is an online radio site that you "customize". In short you give it a artist/song and instead of getting that song, you get songs that sound LIKE that song, you begin to pick through the ones it gives you and give Thumbs Up to ones you like and Thumbs down to ones you dont. The program uses the Music Genome Project to accurately determine what songs you will like, and in about a day or so you'll have a staition that plays only the exact genre of music you like . Its amazing

 Re: Pandora
I actually heard about it through a friend. I thought they were lying and never checked it out. I guess I'll have to, now, in my sleepy, disoriented state.

 Re: Pandora
Sounds like a good idea, but I doubt it'd work for me, lol. I tend to listen to a variety of different genres and such. It all just depends on my mood really. So I doubt an online radio site could ever play exactly what I feel like hearing whenever I want to hear it, lol. Oh well, I suppose it would be a good way to be introduced to new stuff I've never heard. Then I could find it and add it to my collection for whenever I'm in the mood for it. I may check it out later.

 Re: Pandora
ya pandora is rly good but has anyone heard of http://www.playlist.com the full name is project playlist but all u have to do is type in any band and they will most likely have it and if not they will pull up a few sites for u. its a rly good site for anyone that wants to hear a specific song and they can go right to it instead of like what pandora does is they jump around between bands and u cant keep it on one. also limewire is great but im positive that everyone hear has heard of that.

 Re: Pandora
I actually used http://www.projectplaylist.com at school for a while until it was blocked, so then I found http://www.pandora.com, and it's fun to use when I'm not hankerin' for a specific song but maybe a band or bands that are similar.
