I found galaxiesreborn.com from the SWGemu site. They have a handy dandy server list forum topic that Galaxies Reborn posted on.

Not sure if my discovery of this slice of greatness is of any importance or if anyone has interest in my explanation, but I only got a brief time on pre-cu/pre-nge SWG, as I had made a character on my friend's account one day when him and I were hanging out at his house. Got up to (I think) level 10 as a carbineer(?). And, I was thinking the other day, "Wow... All there are for MMORPG's these days are the same repetitive, lame WoW-style games," and then I had remembered SWG; something unique. So, I popped onto the google search engine with the knowledge of private servers, and people having the ability to create their own content under certain guidelines that don't breach copyright laws. (even when those copyright laws are ridiculously protecting gaming engines that will never grace a computer again) After some researching, I found Galaxies Reborn. This is my second to last hope for MMO gaming. All the others out there are so simplistic, childish and boring!!
Haha, went off a little crazy there, but yeah.

I saw the name referenced some where on http://www.swgservers.com/
I remember being irked that when you mouse over their SWG Community Servers icon, Galaxies Reborn is not on the list.


Edit: It is listed when you click on the free swg servers button though. That must be where I found it.

Well, it was a long time ago, i heard the CU was on its way so i quit to play WoW, but i missed SWG soo damn much i would log in once a year or so just to see if Sony had come to their senses and rolled it back, (but unfortunately not), then one time i logged in to **** about the CU to all the nubs that had never played pre CU and some random guy told me about Reborn, that was at least 2 or 3 years ago i think and there wasn't much information and people were still trying to get more Pre CU content, now again i'm bored with WoW and re-installed SWG (was gonna play for a few days) and i remembered what the guy told me last time i logged in, so i Googled SWG pre CU and found this place.

I googled you up. I was looking for an original version of SWG which I had played along time ago in the original version, and I wanted to play that again.

We should probably add "From SEGEMU server listing" as an option.

Google, got all sentimental when I saw some old screenshots so typed in google "SWG Pre CU" and guess where I ended up

Was highest rated swg emu server when i accidently stumbled upon it, readed the description of this community, that was enough!

hey i played the game a few years ago when it launched, i had a MCH until they nerfed my rancors. then i went TKM/MD ive played pretty much every class and i am looking forward to figuring out how to get onto this server

ChixDigit and I go way back in SWG. We were in a couple of guilds together, ground our jedis together and literally had a blast in the game. I am very much looking forward to playing again and I'm trying to get a few of my old friends to sign up too. Wish me luck.
