Hey everyone greetings from SoCal. I've been keeping tabs on the emulator project for some time now, and I'm looking forward to jumping back into the universe again.

I've been following several servers closely and have decided that GR here has the best laid foundation to provide a solid gaming environment. Furthermore, I've been impressed by the leadership's dedication to running the game via the will of the majority. It would be very easy in their position to set up a server w/ a "my way or the highway" attitude, and instead they've perhaps sacrificed some of their personal preferences to provide us with a server that will cater to us. So thanks in advance for that.

As far as my swg experience goes I played about 8months pre cu (if I remember correctly) on Bria until I fried my video card. At that time it was my first mmorpg ever, but I was totally hooked. My toon there was rather unremarkable, but it was at this time that I learned the fundamentals of playing a mmorpg.

Later one once circumstances permitted, I set up a new account and started all over again, just 2 weeks prior to the NGE unfortunately. However due to my love of the SWG universe, and a total disinterest in games like WoW. I stuck with the NGE for a little over a year. During this phase I played on Kettemoore as Katai Eniodono, who had a rather successful career as a bounty hunter. (granted I considered nge hunting to be on a less challenging scale)

Anyway in closing I just wanted to say that I'm looking forward to swapping ideas with everyone here as you seem to be such a positive community.

I don't exactly recall. Think I was doing some NGE quest. Thought the room was cool with all the random stuff lying around so I popped a pic.

I used to play on Kettemoor way back PreCU. It was fun there. You wouldn't happen to know of Red Star Elite or Red Star City, would you?

Well I played Kettemoor in the NGE, but RSE was still around as was Red Star City. I visited Red Star City on several occasions, though I cant remember if I was shopping or using it as a jump point to bh someone.

It was probably both. We had an excellent shopping center and we were the only space port near the center of the map, even though there were multiple towns in the area. It could have all changed though. And I am glad that they are still around. To date RSE was the best guild I have ever been in on any game, and I even carried on the legend in a WoW Guild.

I know that place in the first picture, I am pretty sure it's the bunker you go to for the Mark of Honor pirates for the Hero of Tat questline.
