So i have been in South Africa for a year or so and will be coming back to the states next year, but as such my computer capabilities are not great. The result is much reminiscing (and sometimes playing) of older games. Just the other day I was recalling how SWG was probably the best MMO I ever played. I was never part of a guild or knew a ton of people, but played a lone wolf BH with an itch for jedu hunting and had an inordinate amount of fun. The amount of time and strategy that went in my different templates (as you only needed 3/0/0/0 for bounties) and 1on1 strats was AWESOME! The crazy tension that would build-up as I waited for the best time to spring my opening volley and pray for success has never been matched since. Really just made for a terrific experience.

So this weekend I googled "swg best mmo ever" to perhaps read what like minded people thought and I stumbled upon this gold mine! I am extremely excited about this and cannot wait until it goes live (which will likely be when I finally have access to high speed internet anyway). Look forward to being a part of the community (now I can bust old my old SWG calc...nice).

I know how you feel. I live with a group of people, and many of them torrent like mad, during certain times of the day my connection is crazy. I logged onto the TC earlier and my ping was in the high 900's at times peaking much higher.


But beyond that, sounds like you loved the PVP aspect. Given the RP nature here, and the many outspoken that also love PVP, it seems you will like it around these parts. ^^

Especially considering a lot of thought and discussion is going into what is huntable for those seeking bounties, when Live arrives it could quite possibly be the best "hunting" system available anywhere considering that it's being developed with actual player input.

Well, I know I could be considered biased... but you really did find the best server community out there The Administrator of this site really goes out of his way to make sure everyone has a voice, and it has turned out to be a fun and close knit community. I hope you feel very welcome here!!

That said... if your computer is up to it you should consider reinstalling the game and gettign on the test center. it's nostalgia at its best
