So I know bumping isn't allowed on most forums, I didnt see it in the rules here so I'll ask, are we allowed to bump in the Star Wars Galaxies Gaming Ideas forum if an idea we had has already been posted, but hasnt been active for several months?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but just thought I'd ask xD.

I dont see it a problem as long as the last post was informative to the subject of the thread. I think what annoys people about bumping is the only thing they say is "bump" in their post. Thats not informative.......see the difference?

Just my opinion, but i'd say:

Simple "Bump" posts are not really any use. Most people will click on "View New Posts" when they come here, and your post will show up in their list if they haven't already viewed it. If they have already viewed it then it's safe to assume they haven't got anything to say!

Due to the way this forum works there is little use to bumping, however if you have something useful to add to the post then that's a different matter.
